This is Journal Club 01/01/21! I hold one every week JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present some that have influenced my life this week. Be safe and stay healthy!
- It’s hard to believe, but at the start of the new year, tax time isn’t that far away. In this post, Physician on Fire reveals the top ten ways you can cut the amount of tax you end up paying – from harvesting tax losses to oil and gas partnerships.
- Budgets: You either love them or you hate them. This is especially true now that many people will be making budgeting a part of their New Year’s resolutions. In this contribution from love, success and the sock drawerThe author lists some of the traditional benefits of budgeting, but ultimately shows that it’s less about constraints than about training.
- Can money buy happiness? The answer is yes! That is at least in the opinion of the prudent plastic surgeon. In this post, the author describes how money can make us happier – experiences, expenses and donations. However, achieving the happiness that money can bring is all about your mindset.
