McConnell Opens $ 500 Billion for Coronavirus Reduction

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday he was open to a $ 500 billion package aimed at alleviating the economic troubles of the coronavirus pandemic. The Republican added, however, that he had not had private conversations with Democrats who control the house of Representatives or President-elect Joe Biden, also a Democrat.
